SYNOPSIS

 

Della, a 45-year-old wanna-be coulda-been jazz singer and her lover, Dale, a 23-year-oldsmall time crim, are in the final stages of their dysfunctional relationship. This 1998 short film starring GILLIAN JONES and AARON BLABEY was the first full collaboration between producer ANTHONY ANDERSON and director CATE SHORTLAND and also the first film from RED CARPET PRODUCTIONS. It has been broadcast on SBS Television in Australia and screened at the following festivals:
