Somersault DVD Information

This DVD, available for purchase, contains the award winning feature film from director Cate Shortland as well as the following extras:

 

1.      Inside the Snowdome: Making SOMERSAULT – a 25-minute featurette includes interviews with cast and crew and behind the scenes footage on location

2.      Shooting SOMERSAULT – a 15-minute interview with cinematographer Robert Humphreys, A.C.S. describing in detail his approach to this style of filming

3.      8 Deleted Scenes - with audio commentary from director Cate Shortland

4.      Theatrical Trailer

5.      FLOWERGIRL - a 19-minute short film directed by Cate Shortland in 1999 about 3 Japanese surfers living in Sydney.  This film brings together the creative team from SOMERSAULT in their earlier work.
